Welcome to our interactive site for the valuable mature workforce. Santa Barbara, California is one of the best places in the world for those who wish to eschew retirement and grace the workforce with their experience and skills.
Thanks to Santa Barbara City College and Adult Eduction, we will gather again for six sessions starting on October 8, 2009 to help each other to enter, re-enter, or change jobs during this challenging time.
Classes will be FREE and at the Wake Center on Turnpike starting at 5PM. Sign-up information will be posted here. But why wait for the class? Join this group and link up with past students, talk about the local employment scene, and share resources and ideas. You don't need to sign up unless you want to leave comments. And if you sign up, feel free to use a fabricated name. As long as you are curious, civil, and want to both give and receive help, we want you on board.
