There are so many great people with awesome skills to meet through the Age of Work and through the Newcomers Club. I just moved here in May from Colorado. If you hear of any people new to the Santa Barbara/Goleta area within the last eighteen months, the Newcomers Club http://www.sbnewcomers.org/ is a great way to get to know the community as well as some "movers and shakers."
